Comment from Melissa Rockwell (Seattle/United States):
I was a student at Juan Sisay in the Fall of 2007. I was originally going to stay for 4 weeks but liked it so much that I extended my stay for 10. My family for the homestay was wonderful and told me I had to stay with them when I come back (as I am already planning a return trip). I am in Spain now and I could nt imagine trying to speak Spanish without all of the speaking and listening practice from Juan Sisay. They helped me apply the rules I had already learned into real conversational use.
Melissa Rockwell is highly pleased with the services provided by Juan Sisay in Quetzaltenango/Guatemala.

Comment from Lee Elia Nisim (Israel/Mexico):
I am an ex student and an ex coordinator of Escuela Juan Sisay. I have started as a Spanish student, planing to travel, but i discovered a very unic atmosphere, created by the staff, and so my plans were changed dramatically, hence i became a coordinator. I can honestly say, after getting to know every who and what in this big city with familiar atmosphere, that in Juan Sisay, and i will bet you on it, you find the best quality of Spanish instruction and the best school-freindly environment. It is a shame i cannot communicate this best combination ever, you will have t0 count on me, get there and experience it by yourself, i assure you you will not be dissapointed, on the contrary, you will either want to spread the word or keep the secert about this incredible school in this great city just to your closest friends. I would have written it in Spanish as well but i haven`t any space left

Comment from Meggan Watson (Houston, TX/United States):
I attended Juan Sisay in 1996 for two months and again in 1998 and 2000 for a Spanish tune up. I had been to a few other Spanish schools in Mexico and Guatemala briefly and I can say that Juan Sisay was the best by far. The staff are warm, helpful and excellent teachers. The instruction is one on one, which is the only way to go and the school itself is engaged in community service projects and promotes social justice. It is a wonderful environment to learn and grow in.
Meggan Watson is highly pleased with the services provided by Juan Sisay in Quetzaltenango/Guatemala.

Comment from Alice Whiteside (USA/United States):
Everyone at the school was very friendly, helpful and fun. I am amazed at how quickly I picked up the basics of conversing in Spanish, the one on one teaching is very effective.
Alice Whiteside is highly pleased with the services provided by Juan Sisay in Quetzaltenango/Guatemala.
