I arrived in Peru speaking absolutely no Spanish. Within six weeks, I was had a firm grasp of conversational Spanish thanks to the excellent teaching of ACI. The amount of personal attention you recieve through ACI is remarkable. The teachers of devoted to their work, and are highly skilled. Beyond classes, Arequipa offers so much - it is a beautiful city, but much less touristy than Cuzco, so you are forced to rely on your Spanish skills. I had such a positive experience, I returned to ACI for an additional six weeks of training two years later. I highly recommend the institute and the city of Arequipa.
