Spanish made easy
Spanish made easy: The new teaching material, edited by the team of the Íbero Spanish School is in public and in use.
Íbero is a school which never stands still; if you go there they always will surprise you with something new.

Íbero's brunch
Yes, we were invited to Íbero's brunch on a Friday, and yes, the students were exited with the 'pizza break' provided by Íbero. 'Íbero brunch' happens every Friday.

Íbero moved to a new location
Íbero finally moved to a new location: It's a building where the famous Tango-singer Gardel lived about 120 years ago.
They renewed the house completely, and we were invited to see the progress of the changes several times, and they did a lot of work.
Now the new Íbero School is finished and provides nearly every comfort you can think on it (home-cinema, ping-pong, wireless Internet etc. etc.).
Florencia and Juan love their school, and they are trying do create the best services for Spanish students. Meetings with them are always very productive and surely they are setting standards for the 'idiomatic tourism' in Argentina. They are also trying to do good public relations, sometimes a little bit 'overacting', but you must be conscious about that public relations regarding to the 'idiomatic tourism' is a new field in Argentina and there not so much experiences regarding to this theme.
It's always very pleasant to meet with Florencia and Juan, because Íbero is one of the few schools in Buenos Aires where themes about teaching, effective learning, organizing a school, create new/improve services can be discussed - and always in a very pleasant atmosphere, dining together or taking a coffee.

In the Mexican Restaurant
We met Juan and Florencia again in the Mexican restaurant in the Palermo quarter of Buenos Aires.
It always nice to talk with them: They said their school is growing and they are working on some projects with the secretary of tourism. They are realizing permanently a lot of marketing, so we spoke about Internet marketing and how to get more students trough the Internet.

A different visit:
Located just behind the Argentinean Congress Palace, Ibero is different:
With 5 classrooms the school has a capacity of 35 students, in the morning there are group lessons in small groups of max. 5 persons, in the afternoon they offer private lessons. Ibero offers wireless Internet access, so if you go there with your notebook you can use online dictionaries etc.
If there is a communication problem in a teaching theme, you'll receive explications in English or German too to resolve it.
The school's activities are always accompanied by a teacher, the school intents all that there are no barriers between the staff and the students. So every Friday the have a common lunch in the school to improve the communication.
We could see the perfect relationship between the staff and the students with our own eyes because the directors Florencia and Juan Dario invited us to join a dinner with all students and teachers in a Mexican restaurant ... spicy food, Mexican beer and talking until the restaurant closed ...
For somebody who wants a friendly atmosphere and professional services Ibero surely will be the right choice.
