Since November 2005 MELKART has formed a part of the Network of Cervantes Institute Associated Centres . An accredited centre is a teaching institution which the Cervantes Institute has expressly recognised as a centre which offers a high level of quality in all the services it provides, in accordance with the requirements and conditions established by the Cervantes Institute.

SUPERINTENSIVE DELE course

This course with 30 hours per week, is just focused on the preparation of DELE exam. In the lessons (6 lessons/day) the student will be prepared for all 5 tests (Reading Comprehension, Writing, Listening Comprehension, Grammar and Vocabulary, and Speaking) with various exercises. The course has a duration of 2 weeks and takes place 2 weeks before the exam (depending on the date of the exam).

Welcome at Centro MELKART! We are located in the heart of the historical part of Cádiz, between the Alameda,a promenade with a view of Cádiz Bay, and the Plaza de Mina. MELKART is a name given by the Phoenicians which dates back to Hercules, the mythological founder of Cádiz.

Our building of 1856 which has an andalusian courtyard and a terrace is very close to the beach, the market...

MELKART is a middle-sized school. It´s located in a house from 1856 with an andalusian courtyard, three floors and a terrace from where you can see the sea.

The teaching method is concentrated on motivating the students. All of our teachers have graduated in teaching languages (Philology) and have appropriate teaching experience.

The school offers exchange-meetings with spanish students. In this way students integrate themselves in the life of Cádiz and do also speak spanish out of school.

We offer extra-curricular activities such as history lessons, cookery courses....
