Intercultural - Lenguas Extranjeras is located in downtown area of the city of Mendoza, on Andes foothills.
Is a pioneer and innovator Institute with an intercultural and multilingual educational vision. Since 1994, it has been specializing in teaching Spanish. It offers several Spanish programs with optional social, tourist and cultural activities: visit to wineries, wine tasting, linguistic interchange, tandem, intercultural parties, hiking tours, debates, and so on. The institute is a meeting point of people coming from different cultures.
STAFF AT INTERCULTURAL
The Spanish Inmersion Program, desined by a group of professionals from different areas, is intended to make your stay in Mendoza unforgetable.
Our teachers are under constant training and they aim at giving each student a learning experience at the highest international standard levels.
Together with our inmersion courses for tourists, we offer training for residents and coaching for international examinations such as DELE.
Activity and Accomodation coordinators are also committed to make your stay a real inmersion in a Spanish speaking environment.
AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES
At Intercultural, we have programmed afternoon activities for you to practice what you have learnt in the lessons
During your attendance at Intercultural, there will be meetings and tours for you to practice your Spanish
You will meet local people, watch and analyze Argentinian films, cook typical meals, learn how to dance tango and salsa, visit our city and get to know our customs, as well as our region’s artistic production.
All activities are FREE as they are part of the Spanish courses we offer. You will occasionally be asked to pay for transportation or tickets for museums or shows
SPANISH AND THE VENDIMIA (the National Vintage Festival)
An unforgettable week
For: Visitors who want to learn Spanish and get to know the culture of wine and our traditonal festival.
Date: February 25 through March 4, 2007
The program: 16 hours of Spanish group lessons at Intercultural from Monday through Thursday at Intercultural, activities in the course of the Vendimia, 5 lunches, transp. IN/OUT and tickets to the main event.
Optional: accommodation at a host family, including: 7 overnight stays in a private room, 7 breakfasts, 7 dinners, and 2 lunches (weekend)

SPANISH AND WINE
Learn Spanish while discovering the local culture of wine and vocabulary related to wine-making!
For: Visitors who want to learn wine-specific vocabulary and take part in activities related to vine-growing, wine-making and, of course, wine-tasting.
Date: All year round.
The program includes: 10 hours of topic-oriented individual spanish lessons, from monday to friday at intercultural and activities related to wine and wine-making.
Minimum number of participants to put the program into effect: 2.
SPANISH IMMERSION
Enjoy a spanish weekend in the andes mountains practicing spanish all the time. The goal is to achieve in short time the maximum fluency and self confidence for oral communication in spanish (other languages nor allowed!)
The course includes:
City tour
Accomodation in cabins for 6 people in the mountains (shared room)
Full board (from Friday's lunch to Sunday's lunch)
Linens, towells
Transfer in/out (Mendoza-Blanco Encalada's cabins-Mendoza)
Optional activities: trekking, horse riding, rafting, canopy.
