Hispaniola Academia Caribe de Lenguas is conveniently located in the heart of Santo Domingo near shops, restaurants, museum and other services.
Attractions such as Alcazar de Colon, the Museos de las Casas Reales and the S. Nicolas de Bari archeological rests are all within walking distance.
The school is little, with 9 air conditioned classrooms and a hall room with 3 computers and free Internet access. We offer a variety of leisure and social activities, from walking excursion to pasta-night. And dance lessons included!!
Textbooks and teaching materials used during instruction are included in the course price, as well as the participation certificate given at the end of the course upon request. The textbook has been developed by us and contains grammar lessons in addition to conversation topics, practical activities and exercises. Extra material from radio, television, music and magazines, as well as interactive training activities, are also offered.
On the first day, all students take a written and oral test. At the end of each level, there is another test to advance to the next stage. The test consists of a combination of multiple choice questions as well as a verbal test to determine your learning progress.
The Dominican Republic is the jewel of the Caribbean. The landscape, the history, the national parks and scientific reserves attract tourists from all over the world. It is not surprising that the Dominican Republic, with its extensive coastline, (including some of the best surfing spots in the world) offers wonderful beaches and a marvelously sunny climate. The Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, the rain forests or the mountains, there are many different environments, each with its own character. In just one day you can drive into the mountains, go shopping in Santo Domingo, and end with dinner on the beach.
