Description of Celec

CELEC-Centro de Estudio de la Lengua Española Córdoba, is a centre specialized in teaching Spanish to foreigners. It is located in Córdoba, Argentina.

Córdoba is a big city with many advantages, and its people have a friendly attitude towards foreigners. Cordoba is known for its major population of university students from all over Argentina. We have several tourist alternatives for our visitors, due to the near lakes and mountains. There are also important cultural places declared cultural heritage of mankind by UNESCO.

Our main goal is to offer academic excellence through personalized education in a friendly environment. We also work towards an immersion of our students in Cordoba’s day to day life.

We have many kinds of Courses: Basic Spanish Courses – Spanish and Golf – Spanish and Tennis – Spanish and Horse-back riding – Spanish + Argentinean and Latin American Art - Special group Courses – Spanish for Spanish teachers. CELEC has an agreement with Blas Pascal University that allows our students to take a Spanish exam there and obtain university certification.

CELEC works with different organizations in order to give our students the possibility to take a Program that combines Spanish learning and volunteer working. Besides, we offer Spanish for medical purposes Courses.

Our Courses are given by University Professors in 4 different levels: Basic, Intermediate I, Intermediate II and Advanced. We have our own Study Material included in any Course. Besides learning the Spanish language and its grammar, our students work with contents about Cordoba, Argentina and Latin America. A language is a part of a whole Culture and cannot be taught as an independent component. Regarding to our General Services, students have included in their courses airport transportation, a heritage City Tour, free access to internet, library and cafeteria at the school.
