The immersion in Spanish culture helps you make firm connections with the language that you are learning. In our school we make sure that you get a feel for the new words you discover: you learn 'iglesia' and we’ll take you to a 1250 year old pre-roman church; you hear 'fuente' and you'll visit a fountain where a queen used to bathe 12 centuries ago. You will never forget these words... they will always remain a part of you...

What is our method? We teach in small groups of no more than 6 people and speak Spanish right from the start. Classes are dynamic and the students participate, interact and play out real-life situations. Grammar, vocabulary and Spanish expressions are taught in a logical and entertaining way, with the emphasis on a friendly, relaxed and enriching atmosphere. Maximum attention is paid to the student, with the teacher adapting to the student rather than the other way round. And when we also consider the international atmosphere of the classes, the conclusion is that this is certainly not a place to get bored!

That you also feel Spanish... not only that you learn Spanish... that is our objective. We will show you another way of life and invite you to take part in trips and visits we organise (away from the tourist trail). You will hear the sound of Spanish inside a mine, while listening and talking to a miner; learn to pour 'la sidra' (cider) like a professional; measure footprints left by dinosaurs on an Asturian beach millions of years ago; or kayak down a river. And all for free or for very little money, because in Asturias the best of life comes free: the air, the mountains, the sea... we live in a NATURAL PARADISE!

We are sure to have the course you want. Our offer is varied and can be tailor-made to suit your needs: whether you wish to study more or fewer hours per day (4 - 6 hrs/day), prefer to have private lessons or study together with your partner or a friend, or to prepare for an official exam, etc. Whatever your age or profession, whether you live in Spain or not, need a residential or distance-learning course...

Your accommodation can also be arranged by us. You can stay with a Spanish family experienced in accommodating students, share a flat with other students, stay in a guesthouse or hotel or the student residential quarters of our school...

Did you know that Asturias still has animals like wolves, bears and otters living in the wild? even some species that are already extinct elsewhere. In some parts, wildlife still enjoys ideal environmental conditions.

Our region also has beautiful towns and cities: Oviedo, where our school is located, Gijón, just 28 km away, with 3 beaches (ideal for surfing), Avilés, Villaviciosa...

What can you do in Oviedo? Everything: stroll through the centre, do sports, relax, go shopping in the best stores, enjoy the excellent gastronomy, listen to Gregorian chants and operas, go out at night, visit museums and, of course, learn and practise Spanish...

You’ll find our school in the centre of Oviedo, situated in an elegant pedestrian boulevard called Palacio Valdés, after a famous Asturian 19th century writer. Close by is the trail of the Camino de Santiago, and everything you need: shops, supermarkets, boutiques, restaurants, sidrerías, libraries, cyber cafés, shopping centres, car parks; trains taking you in 25 minutes to the beach, buses taking you to nearby mountains in 5 minutes. And most importantly: terraced cafés and bookshops for new and second-hand books where you can read, drink tea or coffee and watch the sun and the rain through the windows. What else do you need?
