Our school is situated in the town centre of Ayamonte. Ayamonte dates back to the 15 century with a strong historical and cultural heritage. The population is around 18,000, and the town has managed to retain its delightful character from the narrow cobbled streets lined with cafes, restaurants and boutiques, to the beautiful plazas and a stunning marina from which you can overlook the estuary towards Portugal, a wonderful place to watch the sunset. The beautiful long unspoilt golden sandy beach of Isla Canela which stretches for miles along the Atlantic coast is only a short car or bike ride.

Escuela Atenea provides high quality Spanish language courses in a fun and friendly learning environment. We pride ourselves on being able to provide courses for students, of all ages and levels and to give each one of our students that personal touch. There is a maximum of only 6 students in each class, which means that everyone can achieve their goals. Our enthusiastic teachers all have a modern language degree.
