Welcome to Ábaco!
Ábaco is a specialized center for learning spanish as a foreign language. We offer all kinds of spanish courses, intensive, super intensive, DELE examination preparation, ERASMUS / SOCRATES business, touristic and law spanish, total immersion, culture and civilisation, individual classes, HEC examination preparation.
Our center is located in the city center, close to the campus and the Plaza Mayor, 3 minutes from the catedral. Free internet access is also available in the center.
We count on a team of enthusiastic professionals, which, above all, aim to teach our students in an effective, enjoyable and professional manner.
Our teachers are selected on their ability to listen, their friendliness, enthusiasm and patience, but most of all for their love of teaching. Many of them have been with us for a considerable time and are highly experienced in our effective way of teaching Spanish.
An essentially communicative approach is followed with ample use of the most up-to-date aids. Here you will gradually acquire and develop the necessary strategies to understand and communicate in Spanish.
Class is in session year-round so it is possible to join the course any Monday.
At the end of the course you will take an exam, and with the grade you obtain we will give you a Diploma accrediting your knowledge of Spanish. To take this exam you must have attended at least 90% of your classes
We organise guided tours of the city and welcome parties with the aim of allowing the new students to get to know the rest of the students and the teachers. Every week we all go out for a drink and enjoy our nightlife . We also organise meals in typical restaurants or tapas bars, where students will be introduced into our gastronomy, something deeply rooted in our culture.
