It's far ...
In spite of some strenuous efforts by the local tourism secretary, Ushuaia remains what it is: A hamlet on the 'End of the World' as they even say themselves, with an enormous price level and possibilities for amusement and diversion for less than 2 days.
To get there, for example from the capital, you can choose between expensive inland flights, or to stay nearly 3 days in a bus. But once you have been there, you can proudly say: 'I've been in the South; I've been at the End the End of the World.' The distance between Buenos Aires and Ushuaia are 3.048 kms (1894 miles).
