Fuerteventura offers the full array of water sport activities from surfing to whale watching, to deep sea fishing but most of all the slow paced island life.

Beaches
Those who know its history say that it is the oldest of all the volcanic Canary Islands which makes the possibility for nice sandy beaches. Fuerteventura has 265 kilometers of coastline, miles of golden sandy beaches washed by the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Unlike the rest of the Islands, the shores are generally low-lying with broad empty beaches. Perfect for any kind of water sports or just strolling in the warm temperatures thanks to the fresh trade winds.
The Windmills ...
The windmills, dotted all over Fuerteventura, are a faithful testimony to its farming tradition. Today they are being restored as tourist centers with a vision to recreating the landscape of their working past when Fuerteventura was known as the granary of the Canary Islands. Like the windmills the island invites tourists to discover different aspects of the landscape and culture like the Miguel de Unamuno Museum, the Betancuria Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography, the Tefia Craft Village, the Morro Velosa Lookout, Molino de Antigua Craft Center and more.
