Good Spanish Language Schools

Spanish language schools are different - some are good, others less. What is it that makes a school to be a 'good school', what is the statement of criteria to pre-select a school?

A 'good' Spanish language school ...

• will provide an informative description of the school, with actual prices, photos etc. and information about the its city signalizing that you are welcome - and they will do it not only in www.spanishcourses.info but even on other websites and their own website too.
• will answer your information requests immediately
• will answer your information request contesting your questions and will not send you a bad copied standard text in a language which they don't understand even themselves.
• will offer you extended services like airport services, home stays etc., regarding to your needs without creating the impression that this services are from which they earn their income.
• will provide you, if you ask for it, a detailed 'map of construction' which is more than 'normally, we use a textbook which is used by others schools too and some photocopies'.
• will do promotion with a detailed description of their courses because they have more to tell you than only 'recognized by some ghost organizations'.
• will tell you all the fees you have to pay, so you can be sure no to get some surprises like 'additional inscription fee because of summer/winter', 'extended teaching material consisting of 3 copies' etc.

Note: Some 'agencies' try to figure as 'Group of Spanish-Schools', normally, with few exceptions only, they don't have own schools and you wouldn't get in direct contact with your school before you have paid the 'agencies fee'. (normally hidden as 'pre-inscription-fee')

Some Spanish language schools are 'recognized by somebody, some agency or some (profit) organisation. You should keep in your mind that the 'recognation level' normally correspondents to the 'economic contribution' which these schools give to these oraganizations.

If a Spanish laguage school could be more or less of interest for you, you can estimate having a look on the personal attention and the information you get if you contact it.

To learn a new language is always a heavy decision causing a lot of work and expenses, maybe it's the better idea to 'deal' directly with your selected school instead of being conducted by an agent to a school from which you even don't know the name ... but this is your decision.
